Description

The HSRJ45-100M 24V is a two-in-one surge protective device designed for network video surveillance systems. It provides surge protection for both the power supply and the network signal line of digital network cameras, combining two protection paths in one unit. The power section uses screw terminals, while the network section uses an RJ45 interface.

Product Overview

The HSRJ45/100M series is an integrated, multi-function network-type surge protective device for video surveillance. The HSRJ45-100M 24V variant protects the power and network lines of monitoring equipment and digital network cameras. It can be installed in LPZ0-1 zones or directly in front of the equipment or system being protected, and should be mounted as close as possible to that equipment.

Key Features

Applications

The HSRJ45-100M 24V is used for surge protection of power and video lines in network video surveillance systems, including monitoring equipment and various digital network cameras.

Installation and Use

The HSRJ45/100M series surge protective device can be installed in LPZ0-1 zones or directly in front of the protected equipment or system. Install it as close as possible to the equipment being protected. The device can be fixed to a wall or inside a protective enclosure with screws. Signal lines are connected in series.

For power wiring, “L/+” connects to the power phase line or positive line, and “N/-” connects to the power neutral line or negative line. The two ends of the line must be laid separately and must not be bundled together, to prevent secondary induction. Connect the surge protective device to ground using the shortest possible cable.

Under conditions that do not exceed the specified requirements, the device does not require long-term maintenance; only routine system maintenance is needed. If signal transmission problems occur during use and normal transmission resumes after the surge protective device is removed, the device has been damaged and requires repair or replacement.

Before installation, inspect the surge protective device. If it has any defects, it must not be installed. The device may only be used under the conditions specified in its technical table; exceeding the given upper limits may damage the surge protective device itself or even the protected equipment. Installation must follow the relevant standards and specifications for the protector, and the device must be installed by qualified professional personnel in front of the electronic equipment requiring protection.
